Veracruz Naval Historical Museum

The Naval Academy of Veracruz was founded on grounds of Antiguo Colegio Esperanza building later occupied by the Military Command of Veracruz, subsequently passed by federal decree forming the Naval School, demolishing the old building made of wood and masonry work of the new construction.

This building was opened on 1 March 1897, but continued to work to be completed in 1898.
